They're calling EZ Pass "EZ Pass Maryland." The two costs are for using EZ Pass Marylnd and not using EZ Pass Maryland -- e.g., plate readings. It's not for Maryland vs non-Maryland. Any state that uses EZ Pass has a recipricol agreement with other states to use it in their state. So it's the same cost if you have EZ Pass, no matter which state you live in.
