US50 Bay Bridge toll question

Does it take VA EZPass or only Maryland. Looks like it takes both but you have to pay a higher toll for out-of-state EZPass. I'd prefer not to have it toll-by-plate as I'm driving a church van full of scouts to summer camp and we have to go over the bridge to get to our destination. Don't want them to get stuck with the bill and likely miss it in the mail then get the plates suspended.

I always assumed my EZ Pass is good wherever they use EZPass...
