The narrative that this is a clear cut case of a biological superior male

beating up a poor weak female. This boxer was born a female, raised a female (in that notoriously transgender paradise of... Algeria), was initially prevented from boxing by her father because he didn't think girls should box, has boxed as a female (and lost) for years (including the last Olympics). You keep whining about people "glossing over" facts but you refuse to acknowledged that the "test" she failed was never disclosed nor was the methodology explained. It was basically "she failed this test trust us". Or that the governing body that administered it has had its own issues with fairness and corruption. There's bias here but it's not mine. Meanwhile you keep bringing up how short the fight was, the number of punches thrown, a broken nose, etc as if those are not things that happen in boxing matches (men's or women's) all the time. You keep bringing up "unfair advantages" such as strength, length, reach, etc as if those are not things that exist in every competitive sport regardless of gender. We have athletes that have completely dominated their sport for years. Do we question their biological makeup? Parse their genes to make sure there aren't any that are giving them an "unfair advantage"? Of course not. And in this specific case given that the athlete was born this way it becomes difficult to separate which advantages are "fair" versus "unfair". That's been my point and argument the entire time. The larger narrative in play is the "concern" for women and their "safety" regarding something that only impacts a fraction of women while also supporting legislation to strip away reproductive rights that impacts an infinitely larger segment of women. If we are truly concerned about women and their safety then perhaps start with an issue that impacts more than minute percentage of them? ** Edited by AbsolutVT03 at 8/2/2024, 1:38:23 PM
