It should be ignored because "visually observable factors" are in no way

unique to transgender competitors. Plenty of same-sex matches (boxing, MMA, etc) feature athletes that have advantages over their competition. Hell boxing usually displays the reach stat as a way to show who has the advantage. Does anyone try to argue that those advantages make the competition unfair? Of course not. And that's where all the talk of biology and advantages starts to get murky. Almost every elite athlete of any gender in any sport was blessed with some sort of biological advantage. Swimmers who have longer torsos, more aerodynamic body shapes, etc. Cyclists who have abnormal lung capacity or higher blood oxygen. Basketball players with extreme height. So the question becomes where do we draw the line when it comes to competitive sports given that they are almost never by definition "fair"? Should someone who is born a woman but has high naturally occurring levels of testosterone be allowed to compete against women? Also for someone who has repeatedly said they don't know the details around this athlete's biological makeup at birth you sure haven't had any issue repeatedly labeling said athlete as male.
