I probably get about $5k/year in benefits, maybe more. It really depends…
On how and where you travel. The Fine Hotel, airport lounge and International Business class benefits are really good. Plus you get an additional $200 hotel benefit and $200 airline benefit. Free Global Entry benefit. I believe Clear benefit. Uber credits. Lots of retail benefits. Other stuff too. I believe I in last 10 years I’ve probably saved about $150k, probably more, in benefits. One one trip to Singapore/Tokyo I probably saved over $10k. But you are correct. You have to use the benefits.

Are any of these better than simple 1.5% cash back for Capital One?
