engine overheating and ending up stranded on the roadside. Nor have I EVER heard of an ICE car having a really tough time starting up in the, well, ice. I can't believe any company even makes engine block heaters. What a waste when the ICE will run in ANY temperature from absolute zero to the boiling point of water and beyond! Yes, super sarcastic, but taken to the point of satire to make a point. Thousands, perhaps millions, of people every day use an electric vehicle to do their normal non long distance driving and it works out just fine. Is the mature technology of the ICE more reliable? Yup. But isn't that usually the case when comparing a mature technology to an emerging or developing one?
