ding, ding, ding, correct!
Pete Best was removed at the request of John Lennon, Paul McCartney and George Harrison. Very shortly after PB’s departure, The Beatles “went big” with new drummer Ringo Starr. PB had a career as a public servant. Decades later, PB did receive a large royalty with the 1995 release of Anthology I, some of The Beatles’ early recordings.
