I grew up listening to ST and listen to a lot of Pantera lately. When I was teaching krav maga, my conditioning soundtrack had a lot of Pantera in it because I was looking to pull the aggression out of my students. I can definitely see how that more casual Metallica fan would not be into Pantera. Kind of in the same vein, I went to the Freaks on Parade show in September pretty much to see Alice Cooper. Filter opened up, which was fine, but Ministry was second. They were incredibly loud, and I really did not like their music or their presentation at all. We suffered through Ministry, loved Alice Cooper, then bolted before Rob Zombie took stage.
