Didn't see this until after posting above...

I read Pillars after it being recommended here (many years ago). I think I liked the architectural references/information more than the story, itself. Pretty good novel, but it took me forever to finish it. I'm a slow reader. Know reading and enjoying Eye of the Needle. Is that one you've read BG?
