Brad Thor is really good

Michael Connolly and the Bosch series is good. David Baldacci has a couple good series -- Archer, Camel Club. Nelson DeMille and the John Corey series. A lot of Brad Meltzer books are really good as well. And while they're light and stupidish, the Stone Barrington series by Stuart Woods are an entertaining and easy read. Oh, and the Lucas Davenport "Prey" series by John Sanford.
