Yes, basically every type of manufacturing was and still is

dealing with massive supply chain problems. It's way better now vs 2021, but it is still hardly smooth. So, for example, a car maker who needs to assemble probably 5000 parts to make a car was likely out of stock on probably 200 of them every day in 2021. And each day it would be a different 200 parts. Today, they are probably out of maybe 20 parts. It's a whole lot better, but it still isn't good enough that you can build a car without tremendous hiccups. Every industry is about the same. As a random example, there is a global shortage of a blowing agent made by 3M that is necessary for making many kinds of foam. We've got several parts we just can't make because our vendors can't get that blowing agent. I know the "chip shortage" is what got all the attention in the media, but it was really only one of literally thousands (maybe millions?) of supply shortages throughout the global economy. It is getting better, but it ain't back to normal yet.
