Acura, Nissan, and Subaru (my mother's now that she can't drive) and I had a Toyota company car for many years. His analysis is spot on IMO. Nissan used to have higher quality but they've fallen off a cliff it seems. Never liked Mazda and I am unfamiliar with Mitsubishi. The best bang for your buck is the Honda/Acura lines. Toyota has highest quality, but I'm not sure the sticker price difference is worth it, especially if you trade cars often. If you're going to keep a car for 150k miles, then go for the 'Yota.
