You should drive through Gilroy, CA
We played polo at Morgan Hill several times and had to drive through Gilroy. It's the garlic capital of the world. As you approach Gilroy, you start to smell the garlic. It's wild. Try play polo in the blazing sun when every breath you talk feels like your head is in a bag of garlic. The huge artichoke farms outside of Monterey are the same. You can smell the artichoke driving through. I love that part of CA.
