The data center building in VA feels like it's keeping us out of a
recession. A dozen cranes visible in Loudoun County alone. That's more than made up for a weak commercial construction market in office spaces right now. DOGE certainly put a dent in the DC area economy, for sure but those I know impacted, anecdotally, have gotten work fairly quickly afterwards. I'm sure that graph/data is based on some negative statistics, however.
