Be careful on the smart thermostats.
A lot of the new ones don’t last. The Lennox ones are horrible. They break about every 18-24 months.
I wouldn’t go high end. Just get ones that can link to an app and be programmed. That way when they stop working it’s a $100 replacement not an $400-500 Lennox type replacement.
