Weber Kettle grill

serves both purposes. Use it as a grill and can use it to smoke. Only thing I did was buy a couple thermometers that I inserted into the lid to measure the temp in the cooking zone. Other than that, there are tons of videos on how to smoke using one. Been using it for years.

You need to babysit charcoal to make sure the temperature stays consistent
