what's interesting in the replies is how people talk about other stuff

I read your post as focused on the actual music. Are the songs good, can she sing, do you like the lyrics and sound? And that's part of what is interesting about the whole Swiftie movement. The concerts, and personal life, and videos, and backstories, etc. are all mixed together with the actual songs when people talk about her. I like that she has a lot of girl power kind of messages for my girls. But forgetting all that and just listening to the music, she has some good songs that I like. She has some very boring songs. And she is definitely not the most talented vocalist. I'd say she is an upgraded Madonna with better vocals and a focus on relationships/self awareness (vs. Madonna and fun/sex). My wife will probably like TS forever. My girls will probably outgrow her when they get to college in 8-10 years.
