Come to the Peoples Republic of Arlington

We are getting hammered with increases on everything......power, water, sewage........ . We are now being charged on the basis of the amount of non-permeable surface on your property, and it's based on interval percentages. So if you have 1601 square feet of non-permeable surface, you are paying 30% than your neighbor at 1600. Taxes, utilities, public service fees, and other regulatory costs plus the covid WFH experience have left the county at 90% commercial occupancy rate, for which the commercial tax revenue loss is going to jack up residential taxes. But instead of reducing the county budget by 5%, they are just going to tax more and spend more.
