But as I have said, most of the incoming talent, although impressive on paper, is young and inexperienced. I do expect much improvement but I think it will more gradual. I hope I am wrong.

and I think a lot of us look at those teams and expect to be behind them this season. It's harder to get the context not seeing the teams making up the other 27 expected to finish ahead of us. I suspect the difference between the 25th to 33rd ranked teams is relatively slim.

ACC. Alot can turn on a few key injuries, close game wins or losses momentum swings, etc. We have to play 3 of the top 5. So we might be better than someone else in conference that finishes higher.

If they crumble VTs way, could be higher. If not, I think this is close to a floor barring some bad injury luck.
Nice thing is three expected to finish better, we get to play albeit all away from the friendly confines of Lane.
