Team rule for self reporting??
Seems to me that any coach would make it a standing team rule that a player would be required to self report if doing %$#& as crazy as getting ticket for going nearly 100 mph. Also seems that others would know and word would get back to the coach. I guess not.

Would think NIL contract has callout for reporting everything
But who knows...those are super secret double blind contracts apparently.

Well he may have been suspended for first 2 in 2024, he didn’t play
Or at least didn’t start then started the rest

A coach doesn’t have much power to stop stupidity
Sure the coach can warn someone, bench them, punish them, threaten suspension or worse. But the coaches don’t live with the players every minute of every day. CW is an adult and made his own bad decisions on his own time. The blame and shame is all on him.

Zero chance the coach didn’t know about the latest speeding ticket.

Yep, the adults in the room should have been more proactive about this.
No way they did not know there was a problem brewing. Or, if they did not, then not doing their leadership jobs minding the troops.

Maybe they were & he didn't listen. It happens.

I suppose there is a tiny chance Pry didn't know about the driving
offense in 24. Extremely doubtful, but you never know. No chance he didn't know about the one right before the DWI, and I would hope they had a discussion. I'm interested to see how he handles this. It was a team captain leading into the season opener. If he "lets it play out" until Wofford or whoever, he's just ignoring it.

When players skipped practices, Pry at least suspended them a game
and offered to up their NIL deals... But he did actually suspend them a game for skipping practices when they were upset at PT...

Alas, every year a selfish player disrupts the opening game ... every year.
I hope whatever NIL money is being spent on Woodson is being withheld, cancelled, something!

Fines and court costs for DWI can be in thousands
Just make him pay his own $$

As he should. Why would the team or school being making the payment?

Point is…hitting him with NIL fine would be a double whammy
He’s should be as we both agree required to pay for all fines and legal services (pretty sure not all players PAY for legal fees)

Correct.
