Of course you want to take advantage of certain player matchups, but hopefully he meant for DL, like putting our best DE over their worst OT...because wouldn't we want our best CB to be covering their best WR? Why in the world would you not want your best CB on their best WR? That doesn't make sense. And wouldn't we put our best coverage LB on their TE if for example he's great catching the ball? That's what most winning teams do. But maybe he's never coordinated a Defense that had a lockdown corner before, possibly because he lacks experience as an actual DC. He's a LB coach so maybe he'll at least be able to coach up our LBs, but then so was Pry and he wasn't able to turn our LBs into a strength on D over the last 3 years.
