I wonder if our DC hiring delay is good or bad news...
It could be good. Maybe the Poindexter rumors are true. Maybe VT hasn't made a move because the guy we'll get is still coaching in the CFP or NFL. (NIU just finished their bowl a few days ago, and their DC is also a good target).
It could be bad too. Maybe VT hasn't made a move because everyone turned us down and Whit is scrambling to find anyone with a pulse before hiring from within.
I guess the real question is, how much faith do you guys have in the AD?

Pry team do the searches ; whit gave em some parameters ie pay benefits but its on pry to select candidate and advise ad who shoild they jore

He has a nice gig at Happy Valley and they just won their first playoff game. Why would he be interested at VT? Doesn't make sense whatsoever.
