VT lost a lot of field advantage when receiving punts that kept rolling.
Would like to see that change next week.

Punts, high booming or short line drives?
30 yard line drives are tough to field. They hit ground and and roll with punting team right there. The 2 that rolled the longest were to the side. Returner's responsibility is to start hollering "peter" to get everyone away on those type of punts.

We lost a lot of field position during the game
Because of that. It’s one thing to let one go but it was consistent.

Was that a Pry decision to limit turnovers?
It looked like a coaches decision after ODU's 5th punt. We probably lost 100+ yards by not making fair catches.

Agree that was terrible good point*

Yep, lots of hidden yardage lost on punts. Harvey’s first game returning
them so I was worried about drops, but he needs to at least fair catch and field the ones he can get to.

^^This^^. I kept watching VT lose 20 yards on every punt - just think
about that and the position it kept putting the offense into. I know you don't want to muff a punt but they need to be better about this going forward.
