That's the most maddening aspect of this one.

He must feel like VT wasted his time. He moved all the way from Texas to Blacksburg, only to be told "nope" once he already got here. That's not a good look for Tech. If a guy can't qualify, fine. But let's inform him promptly, before he packs up all his things and moves here. He must feel blindsided, and that's not acceptable.
