We're potentially witnessing that right here at VT in real time. Utah of all places, just signed a private equity deal that will drop hundreds of millions into their coffers. In a few years we may well see a P2 football environment, and who knows how that money will be split. At the end of the day though, one truth remains, an athlete's motivation to pick school A over school B is no longer just about prestige and tradition, it can be now be legally purchased, where before it could not be.
