These fans will fade away, get other interests, just like business

Guess what, the NFL works this way, and its step by step in college. The days of kids playing football for nothing while coaches, colleges and fans get all the benefit and they break their back for play, or be restricted to pursue their opportunities. College football is a business BIG business, and the financial stable programs will flourish the rest, fade away. This is nothing about values or entitlements.and yes Im a player and I am entitled to market my name and brand.,. anyone else in America can. .. . Also as college price for admission goes up, some fans simply will not be able to afford it, and they find other options. Guess what others will come in. Also, next step college football will be pay for view, and only folks who pay get to see it. Schools like VT are billon dollar enterprises, they will figure it out.

My post was looking at the issue from both sides (employer and employee).

There is zero incentive for individual players to do any of that. That's..

Can be done again. Boise landed Jeanty. We'd have for at least a year**
vtlee 12/12/24 12:38 PM ET
Are you saying that Jeanty is not Boise State's version of MV1? If so,
VTHokie2000 12/12/24 12:45 PM ET
I used Jeanty as an example of another MV1 moment**
vtlee 12/12/24 12:46 PM ET
I get that, but the "can be done again" makes it sound like it can happen
