Even in today's environment, we would have had 1999 with Vick...

Who knows what would have happened going into the 2000 season but the other thing to consider in today's environment is while we might lose someone like Vick, there is always the potential for adding a quality transfer QB. Looking at this year's 12 CFP teams, 6 of the starting QB's are transfers with 4 of them that began their careers with non-P2 teams including one from a G5 school (Ohio) and one that was recently a G5 school (UCF). Honestly, I think the bigger issue is the continued lack of dynamic, high-quality QB's coming out of the 757 that we had so much success with.
