Definitely VT should follow SEC/Big10 model - schedule all easy OOC games!

VT (and ACC in general) should NEVER schedule OOC games against SEC or Big10. It only helps those conferences. VT should also schedule more home games than neutral site games. VT and ACC lose against SEC/Big10 and then don't get ranked early in seasons and sometimes miss bowl games when they shouldn't. Side note, VT never should have been playing ODU as it only helped their program. Horrible decisions with OOC scheduling by VT over the last decade... I'd prefer to start every season 4-0 and ranked!!! Gives time for new players to learn system, gain confidence, play backups, build depth - it makes ZERO sense to start the year against an SEC school - just stupid as h#!!

Would you be ok with worse OOC games if the conference games were better?

Completely agree, especially after looking at ACC money impacts

I'd much prefer a tougher conference. **

Easy yes. Not as though our OOC can get too much worse.

It would depend on how the home and away games were allocated. For example
