What do you think Dorn provides for the team that Gurdak doesn't (and vice versa)? He got 30 min last night to Gurdak's 5. I think it was after Bryant that CMY said Gurdak earned himself more min that Dorn. Heck Dorn didn't even play against CSU. Maybe coach is still trying to figure it out too.

Doesn't grasp the principles of the team D construct, constantly out of position and makes the wrong read on the high pick and roll. He's young, so he will learn. But until then his playing time will be uneven. He has the chance to be special on the offensive end of the floor -- but that's only half the game.

His skills and feel for the game are better than Dorn's. What he doesnt have that Dorn does is the experience and knowledge that comes with experience of knowing how to put your opponents in tough positions. Dorn is a winner. He goes after rebounds way out of his area. He makes sure to set solid screens (the illegal screen was a bull**** makeup call). When he seals, he hold the seal and at an angle that makes passes easier for his teammates. Dorn just doesnt have the touch and fine motor skills that Gurdak has. If Dorn had Gurdak's skills he'd be a second rounder. If Gurdak learns from Dorn on how to take advantage of your opponent then he could be a first rounder Huge ifs...because its way more likely for players like Gurdak to never understand the game the way Dorn does...but if he does...hes gonna be special

About where he can be better, where they see him in their plans and what improving will do for him They obviously know him a lot better than I do so their specific recommendations might be different

Also good to see him getting some touches other than off rebounds. Bigs only develop by actually getting to play, and being involved in the offense beyond just setting screens. Dorn definitely has potential.
