Virginia Tech apologists never seem to realize that many teams outperform their funding, yet VT seemingly never does. Even if I won the lottery and gave athletics $500 million, they've proven to me that they don't know HOW to spend the money, and that's the real problem.

When a team is nearly dead last in nil and bottom in funding in the conference they are going to perform to those standards. That doesn’t even mention the starting point guard getting kicked off the team TWO weeks before the season. And missing out on 2 extremely talented pgs for PURELY NIL RELATED REASONS. Furthermore, Buzz and Mike Young have given this program expectations, tech bball has never been that good, so to expect a good team year in and year out where the athletic funds have literally been pulled from bball is downright ironic and ignorant.
