Most ACC schools have announced/signed 2-4 transfers already
That said, Notre Dame and GT have 0 announced. I am not sure what their existing rosters look like though.

ND has a top 10 frosh class coming in. GT, I have no idea but lost their
starting PG. This week has been dead period, so I would hope there are one or two players announced this weekend. 'In Chester we Trust?"

Yes, CMY faxed offers-out this morning :-)
Kidding aside, I do expect VT & uva-c to rebound a bit here... uva especially can not allow mbb to stagnate....The unknown (to public) is the trajectory of (player) market values...

I think uva
Already rebounded nicely in the portal. Probably more to come. $wung a good one from us. I think we got a nice pickup. Need to hit on a few more. ** Edited by crazylane at 4/8/2025, 9:49:27 AM

True but UVA is replacing their entire roster. They had good players
Louisville Iowa St. Xavier Cal Wisconsin USCW have all picked up former Hoovers and Warley left for Gonzaga prior to the season. Odom is now getting guys that fit what he wants to do. He has too. For his freshman Mallory can play Barksdale is a year away. We kept the guys who we believe fit our program AND they have a year in the system. Hansbury has Big 10 and Big 12 experience and brings some positional versatility. We need a few pieces and the staff is working a list but very grateful we’re not starting from scratch again. Losing White hurts but not at the price they supposedly paid.

UVA has started well
Clear identity being formed of physical imposing guards that are scorers. Bigs are TBD - literally none the roster. From a guard standpoint, it seems the vision is a lot like Florida’s. These guards are systemless like Florida - they can go one on one and finish at the rim. Not saying the success will be the same of course but you get a sense of how the roster is set to play. I expect them to get bigs that are more rim runners and defenders as opposed to finesse scorers. Less of a Johni Broome/Grant Basile type and more of a Malauch type from Duke. Pick and role finishers, lob threats, etc. that’s coming from who is reported to be targeted. IMO tech still needs a lot. A true scorer is needed and it seems uva took MY’s first choice (White from NDSU). Tech needs another athletic big and maybe another true wing to complement Johnson/Schutt. Another PG too though I think if they got another good wing and center, Hammond is fine as a set the table first, score second type PG.

Need a 5, a 3 and 2 guards that can score and shoot the 3.
