But it seems outside consensus (because not much has come out) that Odom and UVa is the first pairing. He has family history at uva, makes sense as a mid major success, etc. fits the profile of what uva wants in a coach (high character, good rep, etc). Recruits the area well, and so on. What actually happens in a coaching search? Who knows. I think it is as likely that Sanchez stays as it is someone else is hired. Rick Carlisle is the wild card here for uva. Would Odom move from uva if Miami, FSU, VT called? Possibly. All this to say it’s too early to tell.
