Current staff needs a complete player evaluation overhaul
In addition to a bunch of other improvements.
For every really good college player we were close to landing, I can name you 5 or 10 busts that we wanted bad in the same breadth.
The only 2 that I can remember being really, really good college players that we had a chance with were Clowndog (Noah Clowney) and PJ Hall. I am sure there were a couple of others but not many!
I could type the 20 busts but that would take too long.

....basketball to a reasonable level (e.g., give the cash required for MY to rehire a Frazier, not have a low major NIL). We have a $16M program that looks to be in sharp decline and excuses are the only answers (just poor ol' VT in the NRV, not a basketball school, etc.). Football, given the fan support and investments, is a .500 team that isn't playing against the P2 on a week to week basis.

The one that gets the most attention here has been Carter Whitt. He seems to be having a decent year at Belmont but his career has been underwhelming

That said, there are huge fundamental reasons why this staff can't get the right players.. some is their fault and some is not.
