The transfer portal exodus was the beginning of the end for Justin Fuente

I know that with the world of NIL and transfer free agency are different that a few years ago, but there are problems that clearly need to be addressed and I don't think this is all about turkey bacon. There is clearly a problem with the coaching staff and with player retention that MUST be addressed. You don't lose 70% of your roster to the portal without issues. Also, there needs to be some discussion and penalties regarding tampering. Clearly Lynn Kidd was being "recruited" before he hit the portal since his move to Miami came so quickly. That has to stop. Also, there needs to be some rule around transfering more than once within a 4-year period. This one year free agency thing will kill the sport and destroy all fan interest. If I want to see overpaid players, I can watch the NBA.

That issue alone is why I think the P2 could end up doing its own thing and
VTHokie2000 03/29/24 11:27 AM ET
So in that scenario, VT probably remains P5? Just asking, I have no clue.**

Under the current leadership, I would say that VT would lean towards not
VTHokie2000 03/29/24 07:11 PM ET
Is that even legally possible?**
