I can't ascribe the intent of specifically saying disparity wrt NIL...

But the larger point I am making is that Duke doesn't get to the level where their coffers are big enough to stay relevant annually in the NIL world if they didn't create an illegal advantage for 3 decades under Coach K They're a school that produced alumni at roughly the same rate as a school like Wake Forest...if the results were the same for 30 years, the funding would be as well. Duke took off...Wake didn't. Because Duke cheated. Duke is certainly doing well this year. But they've gone 27-9 each of Scheyer's first two seasons, both on the lower end of what Duke averaged from 1991 to 2019...so is Duke struggling in NIL? No, but they're certainly not the dominant force they were when they held that advantage others didn't participate in
