I do not want them to necessarily speed up getting to the basket, but

Rather use passes to get across 1/2 quickly and w/o turnover. Then they can run half court offense, unless easy basket is too good an opportunity to pass up! Yes, this is something new and will require alot of staff and player practice to make successful. However, key to MY half court offense is good passing and screening. Develop plan to use those same skills to nullify opponents press? Now is likely last chance to implement something this new. Once ACC play begins it's a hard grind with hardly time to think.
