I must be the odd man out then.
I was a huge LA Rams, Dodgers and Lakers fan growing up for completely unrelated reasons and I didn’t grow up in LA, thank goodness.
I can name more Rams players on the Roman Gabriel teams than on today’s team because I don’t really care anymore.
My love for the Dodgers, and pro baseball in general, died during the strike in the early 90’s. Haven’t watched a regular season game in decades. I occasionally tune into the World Series for an inning or 2.
And, some where along the way, I stopped paying attention to the NBA and the Lakers.
The fans must be coming from somewhere but because my pro sports fandom died when my daughter was very young, she could care less about pro sports but she is a huge Hokie sports fan.
