And in terms of advancing the football program, was it not set-up to take that step and the execution simply failed? Is that on Whit or Brent Pry? Or are we following the ol' "Buck Stops Here" with Whit on this? If anything, (and I don't know most of this) I'd be more upset about corporate sponsors and the lack of meaningful football matchups that drive interest in the program coupled with raising NIL money. In football, the next home matchup I'm even mildly interested in for non-conference is Wisconsin in 2031 and I'm definitely not holding my breath for that. I also don't know how much sway Whit has on Pry's staff and moves he should be making. If Whit's job depends solely on football success, does he actually have a hand in that? I don't know all the little things that should be happening, like the plethora of jobs that SEC schools dole out now, or how our amenities stack up and if we are negligent in that aspect. If those are huge problems, they need to be pointed out.
