I recall that article and with the benefit of hindsight now that article and the accompanying comments might be even more of a must read now for moving forward. I have to reference another one of your articles "Shot Across the Bow" and the SI piece to say that either one or both of those probably could and SHOULD have put him in the crosshairs if anybody in leadership was really paying attention. Please do not misunderstand me, I am thankful for the FEF that transpired but, I am more than slightly agitated that a deeper dive and more pressing questions were either not asked or follow up ignored. This is the 4 or 5 years too late I referenced in response to @VTScoop and his touting a wider lens for Sands now. I hate being negative but, I am all out of do overs at this point and sadly I believe VT is as well.
