I get what you are saying

I agree that winning a title, or really having any impact on success at his age, is an amazing accomplishment and one that may never be repeated. My point is that IMO the spectacle of him doing those things is lessened by the way he does it - jumping from team to team when he can't win, the team faces adversity, etc. It's the biggest knock on his illustrious career and this further solidifies those sentiments. Comparing MJ's age/path/role/burden at age 39 to the Wizards vs LeBron's to the Sixers (thru Cleveland, Miami, LA) is apples and oranges.
