If that’s true…it’s a DUMB paradox; think about where conference tourneys

Are played for all the multiple bid leagues…on neutral floors (yes on back to back to back days…but…) Where is the NCAA tourney played? neutral floors with only 1 day between games Not trying to argue with you or preach to the choir but IF they’re ignoring these tourneys completely it’s absolutely the wrong message as they more closely resemble NCAA play than regular season games do. With unbalanced schedules the number of tough road games (à la VT’s schedule) unbalanced vs Q1 home opportunities is a massive disadvantage Doesn’t mean that teams that have put the “hay in the barn” with great seasons should be punished for an early exit…but teams who are borderline who make runs are 1) showing they’re playing well now 2) showing they’re capable on neutral sites in a tourney setting ** Edited by hokiepro at 3/10/2026, 9:47:40 AM

For the most part only winning a tournament seems to matter to the Panel.

With how concentrated and disgusting the bubble is this year, the committee

They reserve the right...to reserve the right.**

That’s a generalization that only seemed to apply to our case in 2022

i do believe relative "devaluing" of conference tournys is a thing
Vippie1 03/10/26 09:04 AM ET
If we win 3 we’re absolutely in because of who we beat
hokiepro 03/10/26 10:50 AM ET
maybe, hopefully but

A lot of others? Well there are about 10-15 who’ve had us in and not

don't get it if true, as most of the process should be automated.

Lets be honest. The motivation levels of teams is very different

It's a generalization that's also generally accurate**

Actually if you follow the selection process not much changes before tourny
UTPr0sim 03/10/26 08:42 AM ET
Seeds don’t change much at all, no t more than one line here or there
hokiepro 03/10/26 09:01 AM ET
So tourney games mean something this year? Had not in recent years **
GoldCoast 03/10/26 07:40 AM ET
All 3 games I said….of course NCSU started their final 4 run
hokiepro 03/10/26 08:00 AM ET
gotcha. was hoping the committee would consider these results. Odd, they
GoldCoast 03/10/26 09:53 AM ET
When did the NCAA Committee say they do not take into consideration
