You might want to look.......

a little closer at the numbers as that would likely be a losing bet. The top revenue college athletic department's make north of $320MM(all sports). The lowest earning NFL franchises earn around or slightly above $350MM. The average NFL franchise is between $600 and $700MM. The difference is the massive TV contract scheduled to take another huge jump in the coming years. The Shield is far and away the 800 lb. gorilla.
