Indiana is 37 in kenpom and 46 in Massey...

...but 38 in Massey's purely predictive power rating. His overall rating is more of a mix of predictive and retrospective. So, yeah, does seem like the NET may be a little too heavily predictive for an NCAA model. That said, Massey has us 56 in his overall rating and 68 in the more predictive rating so the NET may have us pretty well pegged at least. I wouldn't worry about it much this season. The Stanford and SMU losses are going to dramatically outweigh the vagaries of ratings systems in terms of our ultimate destination.

We do, the NET is a weighting of Team Value Index + Adjusted Net Efficiency
