This is a basketball board….
Right now Virginia tech basketball does not even have all assistant coach slots filled, so thats an indicator of itself right there.
The available data also shows that out of the 8 schools in the ACC required to report their budget, tech is 8th on that list. The reality is money is shockingly tight in Blacksburg .
Going back to 2020-21 season techs basketball program spent 6 million, making it rank 68 nationally, there are 69 power five teams, so uhhhh yeah🙁
If anyone has any data that shows tech has more funds than this, feel free to reply.

Va Tech was ranked 4th in the ACC in money spent on football in 2023.
