NIL money doesn't factor into those numbers.
The money that gets reported is expenditures by the athletic department. NIL is entirely separate. State schools report those numbers every single year, and then we write an article about it on TSL. NIL money does not get reported by the school at all. Not one little bit.
I know an article got written recently that ranked NIL programs...except the writer used the school funds to rank them all. Which is just plain wrong. Completely factually incorrect. Horrible reporting. All it does is give people the wrong information.
