He is essentially a 1:1 replacement of John Ojiako

What his addition says to me is the staff feels good about developing Kidd to be the long term option there and Poteat is the change of pace to deal with certain types of teams (UNC, FSU, etc) who may hurt VT with their size/strength He is a situational big in the same way Cone was a situational guard/Wing That does not mean he will be as productive as Cone...just that both are not going to be the type of player you run out there every game
