It sure seems like an unintended outcome of using the Net for tourney....

choices is that it has caused teams to schedule to pile up easy wins early to inflate their efficiency ratings. I haven't run numbers, but it just doesn't seem that there is sufficient adjustment for strength of schedule. I think this is made even worse when there are basically no OOC games post Dec. They really need a "calibration update" across conferences later in the season. I've heard something about instituting 1-2 OOC games in Jan/Feb.
