There are a few Pashas who think they deserve more playing time, but the others are money. Players don’t dislike Young.
If you were making $150K and a competitor owned by a UVA grad offered you $200K, you would see if your company could match it or at least compete with it. If they couldn’t, you would take the new offer. These numbers are hypothetical, but if Player A is making $250K and he is offered $750K-$1M and we offer $350K to stay, we won’t keep anybody. If we have no money to offer, we might want to be prepared for walk on tryouts like in 90-91.
