To add on to that...
In that stretch where he scored 8+ in all but one game, the one game he didn't score 8, he had 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 blocks. At his peak he can be the most complete point guard of the Mike Young era.
Also, his top 5 assists performances came in the final 10 games of the season.
At one point during the middle of the season he hit the proverbial freshman wall with a 0-point performance. But then he busted right through that wall and finished strong.
