I think CMY was a solid hire at the time for what we needed

He is great at developing players individually (selling point) and running a style that is designed to make the whole greater than the individual parts (selling point since we know we can't win recruiting battles). I agree that now the two big selling points and strengths of CMY are greatly diminished due to NIL and transfer impacts. And he clearly is having a frustrating couple of years. Maybe he stays because he loves bball so much. Or maybe VT doesn't have the money to fire him. Or maybe Whit is going to be forced out and that gives CMY extra time. Too many variables in play right now. But overall, I do think the CMY era is coming to a close soon. And despite how it is going now, I will always appreciate him saving us from the Brent exit and for getting that ACC championship.

Mark asked how he was going to improve shooting. Asked him for suggestions.

Add to that, Cassell - especially an empty Cassell - doesn't hold much

Given the state of football, we are FUBAR until the ACC gets this divorce
WildTurkE 12/05/24 02:52 PM ET
The ACC is a disaster because of the ridiculous media rights contract **
